Qualifications : M.S , Certified Medical Writer and Ph.D Student

Lawanna Brock is a full time professional freelance medical writer. As a member of the American Medical Writers Association, she achieved certification and recently completed an internship with InQuill Medical Communications, Inc. Lawanna is actively pursuing her Ph.D in Public Health with a concentration in Epidemiology from an accredited university.

Ms. Brock’s training and experience is vast. She has worked in many areas of healthcare industry,  including primary care, family medicine, and cosmetic medical esthetics. Currently she owns a mini-MedSpa called Vanity Body Shop where she performs anti-aging procedures as a Certified Permanent Cosmetics Professional.

Lawanna’s passion is research and she enjoys bringing new information to her readers in an interesting and eloquent way. She is currently working on a book, The Politics of Medicine, which she plans to publish upon completion of her Ph.D.

Her interests include outdoor activities with her young son, traveling, and decorating her mountain home with antiques she picks up at tag sales and thrift stores.
