Pergolide
Pergolide belongs to a group of medicines called dopamine agonists. It is used to treat Parkinson's disease.
Do not take pergolide if you:
1. are allergic to pergolide
2. have or had fibrotic reactions
Things to Tell Your Doctor. If you:
1. have low blood pressure
2. have an irregular heart beat or heart disease.
3. have a history of psychosis
What to do if you missed a dose?
If you miss a dose, you should take it as soon as possible, but you should not take more than your total daily dose in any 24-hour period. If you miss several doses, ask your doctor what you should do. Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose.
Most common side effects?
The most common side effects with pergolide are shaking and twitching, nausea, hallucinations, sleepiness, dizziness, confusion, constipation.
