Omeprazole + Domperidone
Omeprazole belongs to a group of medicines called ‘proton pump inhibitors’ where as domperidone belongs to propulsives. It is used to treat ulcers and acid stomach.
Do not take omeprazole + domperidone if you:
1. are allergic to omeprazole or domperidone
2. In pregnant females
3. Patients with high prolactin levels
Things to Tell Your Doctor. If you:
1. Patients with impaired liver, renal function
2. Are taking other medicines
What to do if you missed a dose?
If you forget to take a dose, skip the missed dose. Then take your next dose as normal. Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose.
Most common side effects?
The most common side effects with omeprazole + domperidone are headache, diarrhoea, skin rash, itching, diarrhoea, abdominal pain, confusion.
