Mebendazole
Mebendazole belongs to a group of medicines called anthelmintics. It is used ermox to treat worm infections of the gut such as: threadworms (pinworms) or other common worm infections (such as whipworm, roundworm, hookworm).
Do not take mebendazole if you:
1. Are allergic to mebendazole
2. Child is under 2 years of age

1. Are taking metronidazole or Cimetidine
What to do if you missed a dose?
Do not take the missed dose, take next dose at the usual time, and then keep taking t medicine as per doctor’s advice. Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose.
Most common side effects?
The most common side effects with mebendazole are sudden swelling of face or throat, hives, severe irritation, reddening or blistering of skin, fits, stomach pain, diarrhoea, gas.
