Cefadroxil is an antibiotic agent belongs to a family of medicines called cephalosporins. Cefadroxil is used to treat bacterial infections of the respiratory tract including tonsillitis, pneumonia, bronchitis, sinusitis and laryngitis; and an infection of the tubes of the ear called otitis media. It is also used to treat infections of the skin such as boils and bedsores as well as infections of the reproductive and urinary systems. It can also be used for dental infection.
