Increased hyperglycemia and hypokalaemia can occure with concurrent use of thiazide diuretics. Betamethasone can increased the chances of peptic ulcer or bleeding with concurrent NSAIDs use. Response to anticoagulants can be altered. Betamethasone efficacy can e lowered down with concurrent use of carbamazepine, phenytoin, primidone, barbiturates and rifampicin. Betamethasone effect can increase in women taking oestrogens or oral contraceptives.
