Patients should be instructed in the proper use of the inhaler to ensure that the Beclometasone reaches the target areas in the lungs. They should be made aware that  Beclometasone disks have to be used everyday for optimum benefit. Systemic effects of inhaled Beclometasone may occur, particularly at high doses prescribed for prolonged periods.

Lack of response or exacerbations of asthma may be treated by increasing the dose of inhaled Beclometasone. Treatment with Beclometasone should not be stopped abruptly. As with all inhaled steroids, special care is needed in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis.
