Aripiprazole belongs to a group of medicines called antipsychotics. Aripiprazole is used to treat individuals who suffer from Schizophrenia, a disease characterized by symptoms such as hearing, seeing or sensing things which are not there (Hallucinations), dubiousness, mistaken beliefs, illogical speech and behavior, emotional dullness (blunting) and suspecting that people are conspiring against the individual.
