There are certain factors that make the pregnant woman more prone to morning sickness.
- History of morning sickness in a previous pregnancy
- Female fetus.This can increase the risk by about 1.5 times
- Family history of morning sickness
- Previous molar (the tissue fails to become a pregnancy) pregnancy
- Common in unplanned pregnancies
- Stress
- Multiple pregnancies such as having twins
- History of motion sickness
- Smell of certain food stuff
- Use of estrogen containing birth control pills before conceiving
- If the Patient suffers from Migraine
- Rarely, hyperthyroidism and diabetes
- Asthma
