Gonorrhea

Gonorrhea is a sexually transmitted disease caused by the bacterium Neisseria gonorrhoeae. The bacteria infects the moist areas of the body such as uterus, cervix, urethra, mouth, throat, eyes and anus. It is a very common infectious disease reported all over the world.

 

Appearance


If you have gonorrhea you would notice pus or a drip from the penis and in women you would observe greenish yellow fluid discharge from the cervix. You can also find redness of the genital tract. Apart from these there are no other visible changes in your body.
