Isotretinoin belongs to a group of medicines known as retinoids. It is used to treat severe acne.

 

Do not take isotretinoin if you:

 

  1. Are pregnant or planning to be pregnant
  2. Have liver disease, high cholesterol levels
  3. Are breast-feeding
  4. Are taking tetracyclines
  5. Are allergic to Isotretinoin
  6. Have very high levels of vitamin A
  7. Are allergic to soya
