In a recent study scientists have claimed that the highly prescribed supplements for osteoarthritis, a disease of the joints, are ineffective in relieving the joint pain or on joint space narrowing. The study comes from the University of Bern, Switzerland, funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation. It was published in the British Medical Journal.
